Job Description:

Phandara Villas is a boutique resort nestled in the heart of Koh Tao. We are searching for the right candidate who can assist with both management and maintenance tasks and warmly welcome our guests. The ideal candidate will have experience in hospitality, property management, and maintenance roles with a solid foundation in technical skills and knowledge. Fluency in English and Thai is a must, and the ability to multitask and handle various responsibilities is crucial.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Offer administrative support to our resort management team and handle various guest-related tasks.
  • Manage and oversee maintenance projects within the resort, ensuring timely completion.
  • Handle guest reservations, check-ins, and address any queries or concerns.
  • Maintain an inventory of resort supplies and ensured timely replenishment.
  • Organise and update all resort documents in the cloud, including expenses and accounting records.
  • Assist in coordinating events, bookings, and other guest-related activities.
  • Ensure the resort premises are always organised, clean, and welcoming.
  • Handle a variety of tasks to support the smooth operation of the resort.
  • Promotion of Green Initiatives. Our resort is nestled in a delicate ecosystem, and our activities and operations must align with sustainable and environmentally-friendly standards.

Requirements:

  • Proven experience in a similar role, preferably in the hospitality industry.
  • Excellent organisational and time management skills.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word, Excel, and Google Documents and Sheets.
  • Experience with email management and administrative tasks.
  • Willingness to work flexible hours to cater to the needs of the resort and guests.
  • Fluency in both English and Thai is mandatory.
  • A driving license with the ability to drive a manual 4×4 car is a significant plus.
  • Knowledge of additional languages is a plus.

Technical Expertise Required:

  • Manage Workers Efficiently: Knowledge and capability to oversee and guide workers specialising in electrical tasks, plumbing, and general construction.
  • Construction Material Knowledge: Possess a deep understanding of various construction materials, their applications, and best practices for use.
  • Problem-Solving Ability – identifying issues and finding effective solutions.
